Pets give us companionship and unconditional love.

For many of us, our companion animal is a member of the family and when the bond we share is broken, the resulting sense of loss and grief is as real and sometimes as overwhelming as when we lose a relative or human friend.

Sorrow is a normal and natural reaction to the loss of a beloved friend; grieving your friend or companion is a sign of the love that existed between you.

For over 30 years, HABT's Pet Loss Support Group has been a safe and supportive environment facilitated by compassionate, licensed therapists, where individuals can come to process the grief occurring from the loss of a beloved animal companion.

Now, we'd like to offer a special group, just for those who lost pets in the tragic fires on December 30th. You are not alone...come to experience the support of others who are going through a similar experience.

There is no need to RSVP. Please share with those who need it.
